BlackBerry Master Control Program (MCP) Help

10/26/09 - Massively Updated!!!

You can now navigate the MCP Help site in the exact same way you navigate MCP.

At any time you can come back to this start page by clicking the large blue "MCP Gear" near the top of the navigation panel.

Damn.  Why didn't I think of this sooner!?!

Hover your mouse over different areas of the navigation bar to the left and then click when your cursor changes to a pointing hand.

Sounds simple, right?  We'll see...

Not all pages are ready yet, some areas may switch to a pointing hand but clicking the link may do nothing, some pages are unfinished.

It's definitely easier to navigate and NOT lose your spot!

Some important notes:

General

At the bottom left side of MCP is a drop down selector where you can select your USB Device (PIN).

Once a device is selected a blank field will be displayed where you can enter the device's password, if any.

The bottom of the left side shows if MCP has detected an online connection or not, and offers links to the Website, Help and Email.

Notes...

You can use any icons or images that you want to change the appearance of MCP.  Icons must have the same filename as the existing files...  but it can be either ICO or BMP files.  If an ICO and BMP file of the same name are found, the ICO will be used.   Images have to be the exact same filename and type as the ones that are currently in the images folder.  Move the current images out of the way before you get started.  Possibly make a backup copy of the images too.

Icons are stored in the mcp\icons folder.  Images are stored in the mcp\images folder.
